Recent bike workshop we held on site at The Light Project Peterborough earlier in December. We hold a regular event there each month helping to fix people's bikes and give advice. We like going there!

Peterborough City Council has just released its draft Local Plan for the next 10 years — and guess what? The Green Backyard site is on the list for potential residential development (yes, that means 48 houses on our amazing green space!).

This is your chance to have your say! We really need your voices to help protect our much-loved community garden from future development.

Peterborough City Council is holding drop-in events where you can learn more, ask questions, and share your thoughts.

You can also comment online or in person. Your comments will support our case to protect The Green Backyard. All comments must be made by Thursday, 29 May 2025.

🚲Bike marking event 🚲

Do you know what bike marking is?

This is where a tamper proof sticker is put on your bike frame, acting as a visual deterrent to thieves. If your bike is stolen and recovered by us, the chances of it being reunited with you is higher as it will be registered to the national cycle database.

If this is something you are interested in, come along to our bike marking event!

Details of the event 👇
📆Saturday, 15 February
⏰Between 10am and 12pm
📍Cathedral Square in the city centre (under Norman Gate if it is poor weather)

This is a completely free event, only costing you a few minutes of your time. All you need to do is bring your bike and we will do the rest!
