Busy last few days out on calls but managed to get on the bench as I need to crack on with these,

Saint Baldomerus is the patron saint of locksmiths. He worked as a locksmith in Lyon, France and died c. 650 A.D. This oath, or code of ethics, is patterned after the Hippocratic Oath of the medical profession.

I do solemnly vow, to that which I value and hold most dear:
That I will honor the Profession of Locksmithing, be just and generous to its members, and help sustain them in their service to humanity;
That just as I have learned from those who preceded me, I will instruct those
who follow me in the science and the art of Locksmithing;
That I will recognize the limits of my knowledge and pursue lifelong learning to
better protect people and secure their property;
That I will seek the counsel of others when they are more expert so as to fulfill my
obligation to those who entrust me with their safety and security;

That I will lead my life and practice my art with integrity and honor, using my
knowledge and ability wisely;

Another 2 church warded keys for Llangwyfan (St. Cwyfan) Church I'm so lucky to be able to make these for so many places around the uk and not just north wales.

Some of the latest warded church keys made last few weeks, big thank you to Eccleston St Marys Church for the commission to make 2 keys to the main church doors and a new main tower key. it was a pleasure to make these knowing these should be in use for many years to come.

A very young pleasant lady popped into the workshop and enquired about fixing this little lock to a heirloom jewelry box that had been passed down to her. we took a look and told her we will try and sort it out.
As you can see hook receiver had lost its securing hooks and with no key, the lock was looking a bit sorry for itself. so we made repaired all the parts and patinated the brass fix so it blended in with the original lock.
The customer was very pleased with the result, so a happy customer means a happy locksmith and a pleasure to put the heirloom box back to work again.
