Latest shower room now completed for a very happy lady. Thanks Linda for being so patient with all my call outs during the cold spell we had lately. Spoilt rotten with mince pies, buns and toast and bottomless cups of coffee. You were a delight to work for.

My latest bathroom was for a lovely lady in Emley. I had pretty much a free rein on what to do in this bathroom which is nice, although Sally did have some input on colours. There was quite a lot to do as I have switched things around and moved the toilet and basin. 4 down lights and an extractor fan and a nice bathroom cabinet with shaver socket adds a nice touch.
An absolute pleasure working for Sally and looking forward to returning to do the other bathrooms for her.
After pictures only this time as I forgot to get any before I started work.

This one was a challenge !
A small downstairs toilet with rotten plaster falling off and pipes everywhere. Walls battened off and re boarded with insulated boards, pipework hidden and a boxing constructed for a concealed cistern. Ceiling lowered and some nice new lights fitted along with an extractor fan. The tiles are stunning and very in keeping with the property. The washbasin is original I just fitted new taps and waste.
I really enjoyed this one as it was very different with a great end result.
Such lovely people to work for too thanks for the drinks.

My latest bathroom transformation is complete and it’s a beauty. Lots of preparation and previous bodge jobs to sort out on this one before I could even start the refit. Turned out very nice though I think.
It was a pleasure working for both of you.

Another bathroom conversion to shower room for a great couple in Denby dale. I was pretty much left to do what I wanted on this one which was different to what usually happens but my customers were very happy with the result, phew what a relief.

Put your sunglasses on folks that orange paint is bright !!
Another refurbishment this time in Kirkburton for Gill and Philippe. This was a great transformation and it now looks absolutely stunning. Once again I had to replace rotted joists with new timber and also replaced plasterboards with tile backer boards. A new cladded ceiling with 3 downlights and a new fan then 2 walls tiled in a concrete colour tile and 2 tiled in a coal colour to contrast. Bath was replaced with a full length shower tray with glass panel and deflector panel. Toilet and basin units were a nice willow colour with black shower and towel warmer to add more of a classy look.
They also had a fancy coffee machine so the frothy coffee was a delight.

A recent bathroom I have refurbished for a really lovely couple in Denby dale. The previous shower had been leaking unnoticed for some time causing the joists to rot so needed strengthening with new timbers screwed and glued to the existing joists. Tiles were knocked off and I cladded the ceiling with white plastic with a chrome detail. Some of the old tiles had 25mm of adhesive behind them so were fairly stubborn to get off ! New tiles were a concrete grey colour with a patterned floor tile to add that special touch. This turned out to be a really nice bathroom when everything was fitted. I then did the cloakroom downstairs which looks just as good.

Another bathroom finished this week in Emley for a lovely couple Sue and Dougie.
Bath removed and a full length shower tray fitted, fully tiled, new cladding and lights on the ceiling, nice towel warmer and toilet/ basin combination unit in a gloss clay colour.
Shower tray finished with a fixed 900mm glass panel and a 300mm hinged deflector panel. What a difference from the previous bathroom, here are the before and after pictures.
