Taylor-Day Tree Services We are a professional tree surgery company based in Etwall, Derbyshire. Taylor-Day Tree Services is a family run company based in Etwall, Derbyshire.

It was founded by Jack Taylor-Day in 2009 after his completed study in Arboriculture at Broomfield College. Jack was awarded a National BTEC in Arboriculture, alongside a National Diploma in both Countryside Management and Horticulture. All our team are fully NPTC qualified, ensuring all members are trained to the highest standard. Health and safety is very important at Taylor-Day Tree Services an

d all the team are fully first aid trained. Taylor-Day Tree Services have worked with many domestic customers, local businesses, local councils and schools. Including:

In February, we were contracted to clear extensive overgrown brambles and several large trees at Mickleover Golf Club as part of a course redesign project. The work was required to enable the redirection of one of the holes following complaints from a neighbouring property. Working to a strict deadline, we deployed heavy machinery and an experienced team to complete the clearance quickly, safely, and efficiently, ensuring the project remained on schedule and the golf course could proceed with its planned alterations without delay. Great to have onboard with the heavy machinery for this project!

We were instructed by a local care home, where construction works are currently being carried out, to remove seven large conifer trees prior to bird nesting season. The trees were mechanically dismantled in a safe and controlled manner, with all arisings removed from site. The resulting woodchip was transported to power stations, where it will be used as a renewable fuel source to generate electricity. Great work by operating the heavy machinery!

Our young apprentice Pete, his first time using the Bandit SG-40 stump grinder. Pete has just passed his CS30 which is his chainsaw maintenance and cross cutting qualification 🌳 He is now in the middle of taking his CS31 - the felling of small trees. Keep up the good work Pete. We are proud to have you on our team 👌🏼
