Folks, you need to read this one to the end!!!

Was heading to LABS building suppliers today around 16:45, and noticed the diesel at Tesco Express in Limavady was at a reasonably good price with the way the economy is at the moment. 166.9 to be exact. I decided I would head back down shortly after 7 this evening to top the jeep up, and to my surprise it was 170.9.

So in 2 hours and 15 minutes, the price went up exactly 4p. I can't see how they would have got a fill in those few hours. So, my question is. Is the filling stations simply raising the prices to coin off the local and hard working people, because they know people need the fuel. Am I missing something? Or does price fixing come to mind?
How can the price go up when the tanks where already filled and hadn't went empty in between those hours? Prove me wrong and I will hold my hands up, but this is simply ripping the general public off.
