Happy New Year to you all 🥳 I hope you all had a great Christmas break, making memories with all your loved ones!

Last year certainly flew by…. And I’ve just realised I gave you all a years break from any updates! 😅 so this years resolution is definitely to focus in on the marketing department and start firing out the puns once more!

But firstly, I’d like to say a humongous thank you to all my customers (new and old) who made 2025 happen. Yet again, this year saw me involved in some great jobs with amazing customers- which were all made possible by all the heartfelt support I received my past customers recommendations. I genuinely can’t thank you all enough.

Replacing the 70mm upvc upstand for a stormguard low-threshold with wheelchair ramps.

No more for 24!

That’s my last window of the year fitted today and what better to finish on than some beautiful Residence 7 flush casements. Eclectic Grey on Chalk White with Graphite handles. Balancing a traditional style with a more modern look.

Eye for detail is what sets fitters apart and you’ll definitely never see any rough and scruffy silicone smudging from me… so finished off with matching trims, apart from the arch above- which my OCD opted for a Woodgrain finish to mock a timber lintel 👌🏽

It really was pleasure to wrap up on this job after previously fitting 3 Smarts system aluminium bifolds with integral blinds and chopping out a window to replace it with a composite door and flag window.

Not only has all this improved the look and thermal efficiency but also has upgraded the security, with laminate security glass and 3* security cylinders 💪🏽

Black to the future 🤩

The architect owes me a trip to the chiropractor for these 😂 but have to admit they do look good and it was very satisfying getting these into this great extension. Made easier with the spot on brickwork and timber upstand for the roof light ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A very tidy chop and swap over in Wellingborough yesterday, replacing this casement window with a Veka M70 French door with Sweet handles and super secure Ultion 3* cylinders.

The old windows were trash 🗑️ way beyond a splash 🎨 so with a heavy bash and a crash 🔨 I’ve swapped out the Sash in a dash! Just waiting for the flash 📸

Back to a returning customer in Market Harborough yesterday and today, where I’d fitted their front door a couple months ago. This time replacing the original sash box windows (and the lifetime and a half of dust!) for these Veka Imagine Vertical Sliders 👌🏽

With coats and coats of paint sealing them up, None of the sashes had been opened for a long old time.

Also, to cope with the noise pollution and energy loss, secondary glazing had been installed a couple of decades ago. Which had been fitted into a bulky timber frame- not particularly pleasing on the eye.

So imagine the customers delight of now having windows that open and shut, but most importantly keep the noise out and the heat in… as well as keeping the original character of their home.

All boxed in timber with a period correct bullnose stub cill 🧐 (excuse there being no picture of the internal finish yet. The lining paper only went up to the frame of the secondary so the customer wants to redecorate prior to the architraves going on).

But for now… it’s beard cleaning time! 😮‍💨

The Green Green Class of Home….

Veka Solidor composite fitted yesterday…. It was so good we numbered it twice!!! Definitely one for delivery drivers everywhere… not even Evri can miss this! 😂

This customer wanted to keep it as close to the original as possible but with a few tweaks…

Keeping features like the Lions Head knocker and door numerals but incorporating a Traditional Etched number above and finishing it off with a Pad Handle, spy hole and Classic design Letterplate.

The two things that the customer was happy to part with were the heat loss and noise pollution of the original door- which were both increasingly noticeable once the new door was installed.

As always, fitted and finished in the right way to ensure it stands the test of time 👍🏾 And of course, the improved security of a 3* Ultion cylinder 💪🏽
