The Paladino d’Oro Sport Film Festival, the oldest sports film festival in the world (1979), has reached its 44th edition, and is organized by the Toros CCV Association in partnership with Jo Corporate Holding.
It was born on December 3, 1979, in Palermo as the “Sports Cinematography Review,” a non-competitive event, becoming a real festival from its third edition in 1981, with the awarding of the Paladino d’Oro, which was won by director Michael Mann with The Jericho Mile and the following year by Noel Nosseck for Kings of the Mountain. Conceived by Vito Maggio and Sandro Ciotti, it has been directed since 2005 by Roberto Oddo. In 2023, it reached its 44th edition and, starting from 2024, in partnership with Joe Corporate Holding of Dubai, a major step will see the 45th edition move to Dubai.
