Wow, from 500 followers to 700 in just 4 days. Big thanks and love to every single one of you. Watch this space for the launch of my new website that I've been working on the past few evenings. Really never felt the need for a website as I'm constantly booked up 3-4 months in advance.
I'm only building it to put a stop to the ridiculous amount of messages I receive saying 'I notice you don't have a website, I'll build you one free of charge, just cost you £500 a year to run it. I'm making my own for £51 a year and I'll own the domain. I'll be posting a link here in the next few days.

Complete lawn renovation Completed on the Taylor Wimpey development off Cog road, Sully.
A garden full of clay soil meant no drainage so waterlogged all winter, also the grass couldn't get any nutrients so was bare and full of brown patches. The solution. - 300mm (1 foot) dug out, 150mm of clean stone laid to aid drainage, falling towards the rear of the garden where we dug a large trench along the full width, layed a perforated land drain pipe encased in clean stone and membrane. Non woven geotextile membrane was laid out on top of the stone followed by 150mm of high quality SS2 topsoil and turf.
Problem solved. Also a sleeper bordered planter across the back but the sleepers were all cut into 400mm pieces and laid vertical.

With the windy season on us, (fencing season for us), I thought i would post some of our previous fencing work. From a simple picket fence with a hand made by ourselves timber gate to a high end bespoke composite fence/gate. For large landscaping projects we have around a 3 months lead time but our fencing team are around 2-3 weeks. Clean stone laid. 100mm of 40mm clean stone, perforated pipe to be laid in the trench tomorrow, encased in the same 40mm clean stone and wrapped in non woven geotextile membrane which will prevent migration of the soil to the stone. Topsoil and turf to follow.

26 ton of 40mm clean stone laid today on our latest project at theTaylorWimpey development off Cog Road, any water will now run towards the trench along the rear of the garden which will contain a 110mm perforated land drain pipe encased in clean stone and non woven geotextile membrane, which will then be connected to the main storm drain. 150mm of best quality SS2 topsoil will then be added along with best quality turf to make a free draining luscious green lawn. And on to the next one. On the new Taylor Wimpey development off Cog road. Removing around 300mm of clay (Approximately 60 ton) from the top of the lawn as the grass won't grow and it's waterlogged all winter. Small courtyard renovation project completed in Penarth Marina recently. New fence, gate built by ourselves, sleeper planters and Rasa white porcelain paving.

Small patio installed and new fence constructed in Dinas Powys recently. 900X600mm Kandla grey porcelain grouted with the best exterior tile grout available Aco drainagechannels which are plumbed intot he main surface water gully.
Fence made with 4 inch posts, 4x2 frame/rails and feather edge panels. All timber Is pressure treated.
All of our work conforms to British standards BS 7533-102 and is fully guaranteed for 6 years in line with the consumer rights act 2015.

Small courtyard garden created recently on Plymouth Road. We demolished a garage and replaced it with a small diamond shaped Brazilian slate patio to accommodate a little bistro suite. Natural stone planters, replaced garage door with this wall constructed from reclaimed bricks and a gate which was also hand made by ourselves.
The customer took some inspiration from a Yorkshire holiday home and with pictures supplied we recreated it in Penarth. If you would like to create/recreate your getaway place then get in touch for a free design/consultation and quote.
