One of the most straightforward boiler swaps you can get a Worcester Ri which had a blocked heat exchanger was changed out for the new Ri boiler and a guarantee.

A repair could have been carried out but the client wanted a new boiler as the old boiler was around 15-20 years old and decided on replacing with a new unit for reassurance.

Some interesting jobs recently - shale build up in a gas supply pipe that wrecked the gas valve and needed a new gas valve, pipework and a shale filter.

Some new Boiler installs.

Faulty heating systems and components removed and replaced.

Air source heat pump breakdown with electronic faults new pcb and control panel installed.

Failed Tiger loop replaced with a new metal type.

LPG cooker and pipework installation, testing and commissioning for a kitchen refurbishment.

A major service carried out on a Worcester Bosch CDI Classic boiler in Culcairn, Evanton.

This boiler is around 5-6 years old and the fan negative pressure test failed so a full strip and clean of the appliance was carried out.

Also replaced the automatic air valve, electrodes, bearing plate and gaskets while at it.

The start of the heating season looks like it’s going to be extremely busy again lots of installs booked in and loads of maintenance & servicing to be carried out. # #
