Easy little job for a sunny Saturday. This bank had been recently cleared (not by us) of low growing euonymus and mahonia. Any surviving weeds hoed off and 164 plants planted and watered, including hellebore, saxifrage, lavender, aubretia and verbena. Should be very colourful in the summer. 🌻🌷🪻⚘️

Recently finished this job. Customer had three 25-30ft tall lelylandii trees that were once part of a hedge. They had become too big and unruly plus customer wanted to build a shed in this part of the garden, so sadly they had to come down. There was also a section of the hedge that had been shaded out by nearby large shrubs and died that also needed taking down and to top it all off, the remaining hedge and shrubs needed their annual trim.

All waste shredded up on site and spread as a mulch on shrub border to prevent weeds and logs cut up for customer to use as firewood.

Bit of a weird one today. Had to clear a mature cotoneaster hedge (had been there over 20 years) on a housing development as the residents wanted a change. Started clearing expecting to find several individual plants in a bed but found one plant that had spread and layered itself in years worth of silt sat on top of flint cobbles! Even the residents were suprised. 🤔

Anyway, after filling 5 ton bags with the waste, it was removed from site and shredded. Very long, wet day but job done, onto the next one. 🙂👍

45ft of fencing erected last week. Customer had a very old and decrepit trellis fence that was falling apart. Old fence dismantled/dug out, hedge pruned back, all rubbish burnt up on site and new fencing installed. 👍

In case anyone is wondering, the charred looking hedge wasn't us, customer had an unfortunate mishap with a bonfire last year 😳.

We had a nice easy job this weekend shifting 10 bulk bags worth of compost and spreading it over 200m² of newly landscaped (not by us) garden. The soil was very rough and set like concrete in the summer, so was in desperate need of improvement. Will now be ready to plant out in the spring. Thanks to PlantGrow Ltd for supplying the high quality mulch.

Recently completed this rather large job.

Was originally a "U" shaped patio, with pergola side stepping down, bordering what was an old pond that was filled in years ago. Concrete bed patio was laid on was crumbling and many slabs had become loose and unstable.

Customer wanted patio extended and relaid into more of an "L" shape, with patio all on same level, pergola to be replaced with rebar cross supports added, new flowerbed dug around pergola end of patio, patio/adjoining path all edged with block pavers and entire patio repointed.

Glad that ones all done. 😄
