Dutch Barn Nurseries We are an independent plant nursery and separate coffee shop on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, between The second sells greetings cards and gift wrap etc.

Dutch Barn Nurseries have a great selection of perennials, herbs and alpines, as well as the usual annual flowers for seasonal colour. We sell hanging baskets (empty and made up), compost and alpine grit. Plant pots are available, we have plastic and terracotta Apta pots. There are 2 small shop sheds on site, one has gardening items (including the ever popular fairy garden range). Open seasonally

mid Feb to early November. Also on site is Beehive Coffee Shop, a (separate business from the nursery)

It's that time of year again when the nursery closes for annual holidays- please note this is nursery ONLY, the coffee shop remains open and needs your support over the next week!!
The NURSERY will be closing from and including Monday 3rd August, and will reopen Wednesday 12th August.
Thank you for your support, we hope to see you when we return :-)

The Beehive Coffee Shop will be closed today and tomorrow (16th and 17th July) due to staff illness. Sorry for any inconvenience. Nursery open as usual, 10am to 4pm.

Thursay 9th/Friday 10th july, we will be CLOSING AT 2PM. It's very hot in the pay hut and very few people arrive after 2pm, I feel it's unfair to ask staff to stay any later. The coffee shop will also be closing at 2pm today and tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience.

A snapshot of summer here at the nursery. I love seeing all the wildlife enjoying the place as much as I do! Our old greenhouse base was turned into a little pond a couple of years ago. It's only shallow, but the amount of life it's attracted has been a real eye opener- frogs, newts, dragonfly, birds and even grandchildren 😅 Don't forget we are closed Tuesdays, hope to see you Wednesday, we are open 10 to 4.

It's been a stressful few days for everyone, trying to cope in the heat. Apologies to all those who made the journey over only to find us closed early- along with many other premises we cut our hours for the wellbeing of our staff.
We will be closing early again tomorrow at 2pm (Sunday 28th June), then back to regular hours. Hopefully we are over the worst of the extreme temperatures now!
