Okay so we recently (possibly accidentally for Christmas) purchased a from Thailand, like you do! Its had a long journey but is looking a bit better for a spritz. I’m reading that there might be happier mounted on wood. I’ve no idea though, if anyone has any tips please drop me a line!

Yesterday I planted the beginnings of a fernery at Dickenson’s Meadow (overlooking Rutland Water) with the crew, and some spring bulbs in the woodland walk - all native of course! Hopefully it’ll get better and better from next season onwards! 😊🌿

This arrived as a little twig with a few tiny leaves and a couple of roots, I didn’t have much hope for it. Planted it, then had to go away for work in the field for a couple of weeks. I must say pleased with its opulent progress!!! 🔥🌿💦❤️

Despite being very busy, the kids have continued to have a lot of care, especially given the recent heatwave (don’t laugh people in hot countries, we’re not set up for it here 😂). We have some new additions to the Fernery (both indoor and outdoor), more on the way, not forgetting the sporelings that are coming on nicely. Now, time for a bit of self care before I head back to work on Monday at some god forsaken hour 😂😉🌿💦
