Our Story

Hi I'm Vikki I've been a professional garden designer since 2004 and have worked all over the country renovating and creating small private gardens to large show gardens. Over the years my business and knowledge has adapted and grown into a permaculture gardening business which focuses on creating beautiful, natural green spaces that work in harmony with nature. I do not use any chemical sprays and avoid the use of heavy machinery wherever possible. I specialise in plant knowledge, forest gardening, food growing, composting and specialist pruning. Being a qualified Ethnobotanist (which is all about wild plants and there uses) I run wild & exotic plant identification walks and courses to share this knowledge with others.

In 2016 I was accepted onto a year long live in apprenticeship and training by the uk’s most renowned woodsman Ben Law. The training involved gaining chainsaw qualifications and living and working in Ben’s famous woodland Prickly Nut Wood. I worked the coppice, learning how manage woodlands sustainably and how to build, make charcoal, woodland crafts, making a living from a woodland. I lived in a small off grid cabin, cooking over a fire and assisting Ben with his day to day woodland life.

My services include;

  • Garden Consultations, which involves plant identification, giving advice and ideas.
