Thought it was about time I introduced myself..
Hi, I’m Lucy – founder of Dene Interiors (pronounced ‘Deen’) – interior designer, wife, and mum of two.
From a young age, my mum taught me that you don’t need a big budget to make a space feel special, just a little creativity and love.
My late dad used to take me on weekend trips to antique shops and beautiful boutiques, hunting for unique pieces for our family home. That’s where I first fell in love with styling and interiors.
I created Dene Interiors for people just like me – juggling work, life, family (sometimes all at once!) – but still craving a home that feels calm, stylish, and truly you, without breaking the bank.
At Dene, we design for real homes in all their forms, whether that means kids, pets, remote working, or just the everyday chaos that makes a house a home.
Maybe your space needs a refresh, or you’ve recently moved in and it doesn’t quite feel finished yet. Whatever stage you’re at, I’m here to help bring warmth, personality and joy to your home.
My own design style is modern and calming, with Nordic influences. I’m drawn to natural materials, soft wood tones, and lots of botanicals, and I love mixing different styles to reflect the personalities of my clients.
With every project, I aim to gently weave in a bit of that signature ‘Dene’ touch, tailored to you.
