The official opening of the R A Bartlett Research Laboratory and Arboretum — a fantastic milestone and a proud moment for everyone involved.

The ribbon was officially cut by Robert himself, and it was wonderful to celebrate the occasion alongside so many distinguished guests, colleagues, and supporters.

A memorable day recognising innovation, research, and the importance of investing in the future. Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

A colleague from our Bedford office recently returned from Puglia, southern Italy. it’s home to ancient olive groves, some of which are reportedly 2,000–3,000 years old producing around 60% of Italy’s olive oil.

There’s also an interesting management technique, they retain one epicormic shoot each year in case the main crown dies. This might explain some of the age of the root systems.
