Autumn has definitely arrived now! Some much needed rain and less welcome wind has refreshed the grass and then covered it with leaves! Fallen leaves are great for nature. Leaving them where they are can help all sorts of wildlife and provide a good feed for your lawn too, but they can make paths and patios slippery. If you can’t leave them where they are, now is a good time to book in a garden tidy.
I’m very glad I managed to carry out some much needed maintenance work on my fences and bonsai rack before the storms this week! The trees look great against the freshly painted dark stained fence and all escaped the winds unharmed. But the phone is busy with requests for fence repairs already! It’s often cheaper to maintain them now than replace them later.
