Countryside Home

Here’s a rear CGI of one of our bespoke countryside home designs. Developed through close collaboration with our client, the scheme draws on their aspirations while carefully responding to the local character and heritage of the surrounding landscape.

As the design progresses, we’ll be working alongside skilled local craftsmen to deliver a home rooted in its setting, a timeless piece of architecture designed to last for generations.

An exciting planning approval secured!

ARC Architecture is proud to have gained planning permission for this woodland home in Hampshire.

Set within a currently degraded woodland, this project forms part of a wider restoration and management strategy. Working closely with our client, we’ve designed a low-impact, eco-conscious home that enhances both the site and its biodiversity.

The proposal embraces a no-concrete foundation approach, using timber posts on screw piles alongside low-carbon technologies to minimise environmental impact. A new ecology pond and native planting strategy will further strengthen the site’s green infrastructure.

Clad in charred timber, the house is designed to sit quietly within its surroundings, blending into the woodland while supporting its long-term regeneration.
