Another month through the year and before long it will be the longest day!

Starting to get a bit dry now, so fingers crossed for a bit of rain next month!

This month we completed:-

✅ 3.7km of FG2 stock fencing either barbed wire or insulated line wire

✅ small cattle holding area

✅ 600m of post and rail, three and four rail

✅ knocked just over 1200 posts at a local vineyard

✅multiple gates to suit

Lots to go at next month with deliveries arriving today and next week for another busy June.

It’s been a busy couple of months and looking forward to a bank holiday weekend.

We’ve recently been working on:-

FG1 four strands of barbed wire fencing 🐄

FG2 stock fencing 🐑 and 🐄

Welly Wearers Country Store secure dog park and horse netting with a top rail

Also welcomed Ben to the team driving post knockers, digger and tractor and everything else in between and doing a fantastic job!

Also, not forgetting another member to the family 👶

We’ve had a few issues with the new post knocker but it’s reassuring to know that dealer support has been brilliant, thanks to RHAB Fencing Contractors.

It’s been an interesting few weeks with a bit of variety.

✅ Post and four rail around living accommodation

✅ V- mesh security fencing around the perimeter to deter unwanted visitors

✅ Snuck in 850m creosote stock netting while close by- will return to create new safe enterance and cattle corral when the ground dries up!

Now returning back to install more V- mesh fencing for same client and different site

Weather hasn’t really been on our side, tracks proving minimal damage on extremely wet ground.

After such a miserably wet day I realised how long it’s been since a last post…

It’s been an exceptionally busy summer with challenging ground conditions.

Here’s a few highlights of projects over the past 6 months.

Plenty of stock netting, post and rail, horse netting with top rails and a little bit of V mesh security fencing.

A last push until the end of the year to finish some projects off.

An interesting project this week.

To protect biodiversity and carbon zero trial plots from deer and hares.

These trials will be flooded so no chemical timber treatments could be used on any timber. Chestnut posts and larch timber ticked that box with natural rot resistance.

Also dug out rice trial plots to an accurate -200mm below ground level so when water levels are raised there will be an even amount of water throughout the trials.

With March now over it’s been a very busy beginning of spring.

✅ clearing 10km of fence lines ready for autumn

✅ Three V mesh compounds to improve safety at energy site

✅ total of 1900m horse netting with either electric strand or solid top rail

Rolling into April with more horse netting and deer fencing to complete.

With the weather turned and the final push towards the end of the year it’s been a very busy couple of months.

Over the past few weeks these projects have been competed:-

- FG1 cattle fencing
- FG2 Livestock fencing
- Horse fencing with top rail
- Rabbit fencing
- Boundary marking

11/10/2024

Lovely day to finish the latest FG2 stock fencing project on a wet field.

Some of the fence lines were under water but with tracked machines work could carry on and with the water away minimal ground damage caused.

Also recently completed equestrian projects and FG3 permanent electric fencing.

A recently finished new otter fence ready for when this new fishery opens up.

All creosote timber, high tensile wire with a buried skirt and cranked top to ensure the fish are protected.

Gates and gate wings with sheet metal so they can’t be climbed.

A great result in an idilic location

This week saw the completion of another equestrian project.

This project included:-

💥 Creosote timber
💥 Tornado Wire Ltd horse netting
💥 Horserail Hotcote electric
💥 Post and four rail curved corners
💥 In built raised water trough
💥 Stable yard
💥 Double gates for large machinery

With quite a large brief the outcome has resulted in an efficient and user friendly facility.
