We were recently involved in the restoration process of this Worcestershire pub, which sadly saw its thatch roof damaged by fire.

The quality of the workmanship on the project was outstanding and we're so pleased to see the pub restored to it's former glory and serving its community once again!

Thatch roofs are full of character and history - but when fire damage occurs, the impact can be devastating both emotionally and financially.

Understanding your insurance position after a thatch roof fire is crucial, as reinstatement often involves specialist materials, heritage considerations and detailed repair strategies.

We've been working with Sedgwick on a roof frame replacement for this cottage, after the previous roof was destroyed by fire.
