👁 spy 🧄

I Planted the cloves 23rd October.
It never fails to excite me 😆 when I see them start to shoot. It may take 8-9 months from planting to harvest, but it’s well worth the wait 🥰🧄

How it found its way into the greenhouse, then climbed up onto the bench is anyones guess ?????🤷🏻‍♀️🤣🤣

ALLOTMENT LIFE
NO DIG
October was the time I covered the allotment in cardboard and it was then covered in well rotted horse manure.
Spring time I’ll be sectioning off the beds with a layer of Natural Grower with coir mixed together.

PEAS 🌱

This is just a few of the peas I’ve sown so far, 2 full packets to be precise 🤣 I just love fresh peas 🥰 I can almost taste them writing this post 🤣😂 did anyone join me in my pea grow along??

Everything is growing along nicely.

Does anyone else find it difficult to post interesting content this time of year??
Unless you follow the TikTok route of miming a voice over, which believe me I’ve thought about doing 🤣I love a good giggle 🤣 I feel a bit stuck 🤦🏻‍♀️ for winter posts.
Just wanted to see if anyone else was feeling the same??

GROWING FROM HOME

It’s amazing the amount of fruit and vegetable varieties you can grow from home in such small spaces. I also have part of an allotment I use to grow the brassicas and sweet corn 🌽

If your on a waiting list for an allotment, why not try growing from home while you wait.
I’ll be having more grow alongs from seed to harvest. It’s easy and fun, so please join in.

You can even grow food in mushroom crates 😀

MATABI

I’ve just received the
EVOLUTION 15 LTC from Matabi and wanted to tell you how excited I am about this product. This will help me in so many ways.
Firstly with being battery powered, my old sprayer was a pump action sprayer, so I was constantly having to bend down to make it work, this was painful as I suffer with psoriatic arthritis.
With the new MATABI sprayer, I’ll be able to press a switch and apply the solution.

I use organic/friendly solutions, such as horticultural soap on my brassicas, so the sprayer will come in handy at the allotment next year.
We have artificial grass at home and with having 4 dogs 🐶 I have to spray the grass each week with a solution of animal friendly disinfectant.

I’ll also be using the new MATABI sprayer to apply a mild disinfectant inside the greenhouse and to help clean the plant pots.
Warning ⚠️ Clean the tank out before using different solutions.
