Another repair on a retaining wall complete after the removal of a tree that had grown and pushed the wall over towards a car parking area…nearly broke me trying to get through those roots!

Rebuilt with engineering bricks to match existing , supplied by the client.. poor quality but top money… that’s what bricklayers are up against now…

Definitely not my proudest job but I can only work with what I get given 🤷🏻‍♂️🧱🪚🪏

unfortunately not all the original bricks could be saved due to age and condition… hand made coping stone trowelled and sponged to give an older looking finish
