Hello everyone,

Sorry we have been very busy working and haven't had much time to post work pictures lately.
We have also been going into a partnership with another local company The Ace of Spades landscaping. We have decided between us to team up together (its only taken 3 years for us to make the final decision 😂)

We have decided to change the logo and a slight name change to
Macdonald landscapes & preservation Ltd.
Please watch this space.

Garden that we finished this week

I’ve not been very active on fb and posting work but we have been very busy and blessed by word of mouth.

For this job we removed over 130 tons of soil.

Laid over 2200 sandstone setts.

Laid over 100m2 of sandblasted sandstone

Welded Corten steel beds

Used a incredible amount of larch supplied from Tyninghame Sawmill

The garden was designed by Joanna lowe landscapes I highly recommend getting in touch with her for design work.

Lowering a poplar that’s overhangs the neighbours house and over a small river. Using the ropes we can direct the branches to the drop zone so no need to jump in and get wet 😊

Driveway completely redone and redesigned.

With Marshall’s monoblock with a tobormore edge to suit.

The steps are made from Marshall’s grey Indian sandstone with the same block as the edge to keep the look throughout

We also put down grey 20mm chips at the side.

Another garden complete by the team.

Big chunky raised beds and the wood was locally sourced from Tyninghame Sawmill

The slabs are Marshall’s Indian sandstone In buff colour.

We built up the pergola from a custom order of larch that will last for years and years.

Beach pebbles surrounding the large raised bed.

We use only the best of products.

Garden completely redone!

Big dig out for sunken patio using Marshall’s Indian sandstone for slabs.
I use locally sourced wood from Tyninghame for the raised beds.

I had help from Craig huggan to choose the perfect plants for the soil and location.

Finished off with LED lights, water feature and a glass wall to stop the wind.

What pleasure it was doing this garden(minus the dig)
