Sometimes a small change makes a big impact.

In this beautiful living room, the existing cupboards were originally finished in a lighter wood tone. The client wanted something that would create more contrast and add a stronger feature to the room.

We carefully prepared the surfaces before refinishing the cupboards in a deep black finish, giving the space a more modern and striking look while complementing the fireplace and surrounding décor.

A simple change that completely lifts the character of the room.

A beautiful transformation in this stunning detached property.

The staircase and balustrade were previously finished in white, but the client wanted something more striking and in keeping with the character of the home.

We carefully prepared all surfaces before applying a deep, high-gloss black finish to the handrails, spindles and posts. The result is a bold contrast against the light walls and carpet, creating a real statement feature in the hallway.

The rich black gloss highlights the craftsmanship of the staircase while complementing the period stained glass window and chandelier, bringing a touch of elegance and luxury to the space.

For this beautiful period property, we completely changed the feel of the space simply by transforming the main wall colour — taking it from a soft light shade to a deep, dramatic tone that enhances the original features.

BEFORE NOT BY US 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

We were called in to fix an issue where water-based satin had been applied over existing oil-based paint on the woodwork. To make sure the finish lasted (and looked flawless), we did it properly from the ground up:

🖌 Woodwork
• All black paint fully removed
• Thoroughly sanded for a smooth base
• 2 coats of Zinsser primer
• Finished with 2 coats of Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Durable Satin

🎨 Walls
• Fully prepared and sanded
• 3 coats of durable acrylic to completely cover the dark existing colour

🏠 Ceilings
• 2 fresh coats of Johnstone’s Cova Plus

The result? A clean, durable, professional finish and a fantastic transformation that completely changed the space.
