This cobbled courtyard was completed for a customer last week while they were away on holiday. When they returned, they were absolutely over the moon with the transformation.

I have to say, it looks incredibly effective. The cobbles complement the character of the building perfectly, keeping everything in keeping with its surroundings while creating a smart, clean finish. A simple but stunning result.

Another happy customer for McDonald Builders Limited

We’ve just completed a full tarmac replacement project from start to finish. The existing tarmac and old Type 1 base were completely removed and excavated. We then replaced and strengthened the foundation with new hardcore and fresh Type 1 stone before professionally laying a brand-new tarmac surface.

The job was completed to a high standard, leaving the customer fully satisfied with the finished result.

McDonald Builders recently completed a full outdoor improvement project to the customer’s complete satisfaction. The work included the installation of a new 6 ft fence and gate, along with a beautifully finished Indian sandstone patio featuring a charcoal border and additional monoblock paving.

We recently finished a full exterior transformation for a returning customer, including a beautifully laid driveway using Scotch Heather Strathmore, new steps finished with KL kerbs, and a supplied and fitted handrail for both style and safety.

The project also included new fencing and a gate, along with slab work in the back garden to create a clean and practical bin area.

This is the second driveway we have completed for Paul and his wife, having previously carried out work at their former home. Repeat customers are the greatest compliment to our workmanship, and we are delighted that they were once again extremely pleased with the final result.

Another job completed last week for our valued customers, Mr & Mrs Hewit in Piperdam 🙌

We started by clearing out trees and shrubbery to open up the space, before supplying and installing a brand new 6ft boundary fence to give them that extra privacy 🌿

To finish it off, we laid down stunning Cotswold buff gravel chips, completely transforming the area into a clean, low-maintenance, and stylish outdoor space ✨
