We took the decision to make a large donation to the Dundee Foodbank this Christmas.

Helen has already been up with two full car boots of stuff and today she took up another two loads.

These were all donated by some of our painters, David & Helen and also from the business, but can we add a special thank you to the friends who donated, especially Ellie & Warren and Bethany & Connor who between these two young couples showed huge generosity in what they handed in.

We plan on continuing this throughout the year.

Well!!! We’re nearly at the end of 2020, it’s been a strange year for most of us and an emotionally sad year for some of us who have lost loved ones.

As a business we have never stopped since starting back at the end of May and 2021 looks like kicking off very busy and we also have a lot of work booked in for the spring.

We at Tayside Decorators would all like to thank customers past, present and future for their continued custom and support. Many of our customers have become friends over the years.

Let’s all hope 2021 is a better year for everyone, not just locally but everyone around the globe.

We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Another job completed and another delighted new customer, all set to be a repeat customer who’s booked us in for external work come the Spring!

A room papered with a lovely finished wallpaper. Looks absolutely stunning.

Getting through the jobs thick & fast!!

We’ve just finished transforming this lounge in Broughty Ferry, the house owner is absolutely delighted with the work.

The walls were stripped and the old varnished paper was sanded down and filled, the upper & lower walls were lined with wall rock lining paper and then the ceiling, cornice, upper walls and dado were emulsioned with the lower walls finished in a wipeable matt as the house owner has a lovely big dog. The woodwork was all finished in white satinwood.

This was a job we got off the back of another job the customer spotted on Facebook which just happened to be directly over the road from their house.

We just finished this stunning lounge for a lovely couple who are repeat customers. I think we’re all delighted at the way the room turned out.
Now it’s all ready for the Christmas 🎄 going in!

We’ve just completed the external painting of The Hillclock Dental Surgery, Dundee.
There was a lot of scraping and I think there was more “filling” on the outside than there was on the inside, but it’s now looking really good as you’ll see!

Another job just completed last week, a slight change of colour for the lady owner of this house. Another absolutely delighted customer.

The ceilings were filled and finished in white matt and the walls filled and finished in a lovely rich colour, the wood was under coated and glossed and windows stained. There were 2 really badly peeling radiators, these were both fully scraped, primed, under coated and glossed.

It was a pleasure to work with this lovely lady.

Hello!!! We’ve been quiet on Facebook for a couple of weeks, but we have a couple of jobs completed and absolutely delighted customers.

This one was a pleasure to do for a lovely lady who is absolutely delighted in the transformation of her house.

All the masonry, eaves, soffits and windows were fully prepared & scraped, then brought up using sandtex masonry and crown undercoat and gloss.
