Busy week, but not too far a travel, as we ripped out our neighbour’s heating system ahead of planned kitchen alterations.
35kW Vaillant combi now running smoothly, tucked away in the loft space and backed by a 10-year manufacturers warranty. 🔵🌑

Another quality heating installation completed this week 🛠️

Our customer had clearly done his research when it came to choosing the right boiler and heating controls for his home, and after discussing the system in detail, he was happy to proceed with our recommendation of splitting the heating into two separate zones for improved comfort, efficiency and control throughout the property.

We installed a Vaillant EcoTEC Plus boiler, fully controlled with weather compensation using the Vaillant SensoHome and SensoComfort controls. This setup allows the system to automatically adjust itself depending on outside temperatures, improving efficiency and helping reduce running costs while maintaining consistent comfort levels indoors.

The existing hot water cylinder was also replaced with a new unvented cylinder, providing improved hot water pressure, faster reheat times and better flow rates to taps & showers — with the added benefit of eliminating all pipework previously installed within the loft space.

One of the biggest improvements on this job was bringing all system components and wiring into one fully accessible area, rather than having controls and wiring hidden away beneath the floor. This makes future servicing, maintenance and any potential upgrades far more straightforward and professional.

It was a busy week for us in Plover Crescent, with two customers choosing to upgrade their dated Boilermate heating systems to modern combi boilers.

For both properties, we installed the Vaillant Ecofit Pure 835 — a reliable, compact solution that fits neatly into a cupboard while delivering excellent hot water performance. Even better, it comes with a reassuring 10-year warranty for complete peace of mind.

A smart upgrade for efficiency, space-saving, and long-term reliability. 🌑🔵

Just a quick one to let you know we will be closed over the bank holiday weekend while we enjoy a well-earned break (and maybe a few Easter eggs too! 🍫).

💡 One of the best bits of advice we were given when going self-employed was:“It’s not what you do to a customer’s house — it’s how you put it back together.”

That’s something that has always stuck with us and it’s something we keep in mind on every job we do.

This install was no different. At the halfway stage it definitely felt like the light at the end of the tunnel wasn’t quite there yet 😮‍💨 — but after some serious graft we got there in the end 😅

After a few weeks with our feet up enjoying the festive shenanigans, it was back to the graft last week — throwing ourselves straight into it (a few festive pounds to shift an’ all 😅).

Two full system upgrades to combi boilers, including the one pictured below, plus plenty of breakdowns thanks to the recent cold snap 🥶☃️.

We’re right back at it again this week for all your heating needs ⚫️🔵🔥
