Morning all , here's one of my latest restorations, it was a real pleasure working on this one!

A classic Peugeot ph501 from 1984.

The parts on this bike really do shine , from the all original simplex drivetrain to the maillard helico-matic rear hub , bikes of this time were just built different and it still feels brilliant to ride this day. The bike was fully stripped , parts were all deep cleaned , the frame has been polished and sealed as well as the original chrome forks being sealed also. The frame measures in and 22.5" so this is definitely one for the larger rider. The bike has to be seen to be appreciated properly so if you are interested please get in touch to arrange viewings/test rides etc.

I am asking £350 for this lovely example of an 80's classic.

I've also been asked a couple questions recently and thought I'd answer them openly on here!

Why does my bike need a service?

A well-maintained bike will keep you safe, save you money, and ensure smooth riding. Don't wait for something to break down mid-ride, just a little regular maintenance can prevent you from injury and keep you from having to make costly repairs later on!!

How often should I have my bike checked or serviced?

It all depends on usage , if you're a commuter and you ride the bike everyday I suggest checking the bike before you ride it everyday and a thorough check over at least once a week...if your a now and then cyclist again it would be as and when you're using the bike with regular maintenance at interval periods , especially the kids bikes!

And lastly, is there anything I can do myself without a professional?

YES! Simple things such as keeping the bike stored well , keeping it clean , lubricating the chain , inspecting the tyres and cables or hoses will all help towards maintaining the lifespan of your bike and helps keep costs down when it comes to the servicing.

Hi folks happy Sunday!

Thought I'd share one of my recent restorations , a 1988 Raleigh record sprint , this bike has been sat dormant for at least 20 years and needed sorting out. Some fresh cables and a right good clean up and regrease the record is running like new and is at home with its new owner- just look at that paintwork, not bad for a 30 year old racer with all original parts!

Have you got an old bike in the shed or one that's been sitting in the attic for years and want it restored?
Don't hesitate even if you think it's not worth it , 99% of these old bikes can be given a new lease of life with a good bit of time spend on them...keep an eye on the page for more updates!!

Hi folks!

We had this Carrera fury donated recently and it was in need of much overdue tlc after what looked like a bit of a rough past.

So we decided to give it a new lease of life and treated it to some new and quality used parts.

Its been stripped, cleaned and the following parts replaced:

Wheels and tyres , Complete drivetrain , seat post , stem and handlebars.The bike has had the brakes bled with like new pads up front and the gears are set and running smooth , it has the rockshox tora 130mm travel suspension fork with compression and travel adjustment. The bike has 160mm disc brakes with the Tekktro Auriga comp hydraulic system. This is not a brand new bike by any means but it has been brought back to life with quality second hand and new parts , I am open to offers as always, any questions or if you want a wee test please give me a message!!

We are asking £160 or best offer...try us!

Cracking looking bike and rides so much better with the updated 1x10 drivetrain and short stem/wide bar combo 🤌🏻

Two lovely kalkhoff e bikes that were in for some work !

Fully stripped and cleaned then coating applied for shine!

Full drivetrain degrease and re-lube (hadn’t been done in over a year)

Discs cleaned , fresh pads fitted and brakes bled and new gear cable.

Wheels cleaned and trued as well and all back the same day!

If you need some of these services get in touch , always happy to do a deal for multiple bikes !
