something new for the colder days ahead…

I've been making something a wee bit different this week — new fingerless gloves/wrist warmers with matching neck warmer and hat in a lovely rose and grey combination.

I don't normally work with these colours, but I actually love how they look together — and they work beautifully with the colours in my Wildflower collection.

I've added the little Blue Tit and wildflower artwork to the neck warmer and hat too.

And the best part? You can come and have a look at them in person tomorrow

Waiting is not always easy — especially for someone as impatient as me! 🙈
But I’m learning that waiting on God is also about hope and trust.
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.”
Isaiah 40:31
When our own strength runs low, He promises to renew it — to revive, restore and refresh us.
Sometimes waiting is simply trusting that God is working, even when we can’t see what He’s doing yet. .

Sometimes I have to remind myself that I don't need to know where the path is leading.
Proverbs 3:6 has been a real reminder to me recently:
“In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
There have been a few unexpected changes in my business lately, and I've found myself wondering, What do I do next? Where am I supposed to go from here?
But perhaps I don't need to know the destination just yet. I just need to keep trusting the One who does.
This is the verse behind one of the designs in my new Wildflower Moments collection — a collection of gentle watercolour artwork paired with Bible verses that have encouraged me through different seasons.

Getting ready for the Lammas Fair!

The neck warmers are coming with me… yes, I know it’s August! 😂 But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can never be too prepared for those chilly days. And I know some people like to get their winter goodies sorted early!

So, before the fair, I needed a new way to display my cuddle fleece neck warmers — which means I need to get my drill out.

Here’s a peek at me creating their new display, ready for them to have their own little spot at the stall.

I’ll be trading at the Lammas Fair next Monday and Tuesday, in the Marquee down at the waterfront with naturally north coasts and glens. So if you’re heading to the fair, come and have a browse, say hello and see what I’ve been making.

Well… it didn’t quite go to plan!
I forgot to mirror the design before printing my cushion fabric, which meant I had printed it back to front. 🤦‍♀️
But rather than waste it, I decided to see if I could turn my mistake into something completely different — and the embroidery hoop came to the rescue!
Two little hanging pictures later, and I actually love how they turned out.
One has “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” — Matthew 28:20
And the other: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” — Luke 1:37
It’s a good reminder that things don't always have to go according to plan.
Sometimes a mistake can lead you somewhere you hadn't thought of going… and even out of mistakes can come creative solutions.

It's here!!!

Over this last week or so, I've been sharing little glimpses of my new artwork , the first piece in a new collection of watercolour wildflowers and meaningful Bible verses inspired by God's creation.

And now... you can finally find the first design on Etsy.

This meadow scene, with its delicate pink wildflowers and dragonflies, features the bible verse:

“Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

I've taken the original watercolour and turned it into a little collection of homeware / giftware — including a linen-look cushion, a 10cm circular hanging and a small framed canvas print.

From a blank sheet of paper… to a wildflower meadow… to a finished cushion. It all started with a watercolour painting inspired by those quiet moments in nature when you stop and notice the little things—wildflowers moving in the breeze, dragonflies dancing above the meadow, and the beauty of God's creation. Then I paired it with words that feel like such a good reminder for everyday life: “Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in every thing give thanks.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 I love seeing how an idea in my sketchbook slowly becomes something you can actually hold, use and enjoy in your home. The cushion is handmade by me using a linen-look fabric, with my original watercolour artwork printed onto the front. A little piece of artwork, a little reminder of Scripture, and hopefully a gentle nudge to pause and give thanks.
