Back in the late 1980's Jimmie and Kenny decided to put their previously learned skills to use. My dad, Jimmie, unpacked his carving chisels and returned to the craft he had learned as a young joiner with McIvor and Allan in Castletown, Caithness. While Jimmie was working on the carving my brother, Kenny, was turning the legs for the items they were working on. Pictured are a spinning chair and coffee table they made. Imagine our surprise when, while looking for a gift for his daughter's birthday, Stewart found a spinning chair he recognised. It was one that his dad and grandpa had made for a customer in 1990. The chair now has pride of place in his daughter's room ♥️
