🙌🏼 A huge shoutout to apprentice Jacob Carter, who has just picked up the award for best student at the BALI awards in London last week.

…best in the UK! 🏆

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 This is the first time this award has come to Scotland.

Jacob was nominated by his course tutors for his commitment and hard work and dedication - particularly for the months he had to commute to Edinburgh from our West Coast Island project.

Also testament to for mentoring Jacob along the way.

Great to see some kilts up on stage!

Scottish Apprentice week and our Jacob got up infront of a classroom of school 16-17 Yr old leavers at his old school today to talk to them about the benefit of undertaking an apprenticeship. 👏👏👏 It has worked well with you and proud of you today👍 Well done Sir!

Some lovely projects and lovely clients too!!

Well where has this year gone? It has certainly been a productive one and we have worked on some amazing projects.

We have created a coastal gravel garden with drought tolerant planting that links beautifully with the landscape beyond.

We have also transformed a front garden into a space for growing food and installed a greenhouse and frog pond round the back.

We have created an outdoor living spaces with hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower.

And some beautiful seating areas with floating benches and fire pits.

We have also made some steeply sloping gardens more accessible and attractive, that are filled with seasonal planting that will also attract wildlife.

The best bit has been working on these projects with an amazing team of landscapers and collaborators.

And of course none of this would have been possible without some amazing clients who recognise how important outdoor spaces are for improving quality of life and who have worked with me to turn these gardens into a reality.

I am really looking forward to the year ahead and we have some more exciting projects at the start of the year.

Congratulations on your Retirement Stephen Thomas !! Be strange without you. 16 years working together now and we've done some great projects together, be it building or landscaping. I'm sure you will miss working and be desperate to come back but wishing you all the best for your future and hopefully you can get more time on the golf course. Hopefully get a game with you soon.
