Granny's Garden

Granny's Garden Bespoke handmade organic and natural toiletries, beauty lotions, and potions

Granny's Garden came into being after growing frustration at the mis-representation I encountered searching for SLS and Parabens free products for our two sets of twins; then aged 4 and 1 years of age. It all began with the Elderflower Cordial made from the tree in my garden last summer, which my grandchildren called Granny Juice and constantly demand claiming 'it comes from Granny's Garden' - hen

ce the name! Finding a supplier of Certified Organic ingredients it became possible to harness my knowledge of health, nutrition, alternative and complementary therapies gained over 25 years. The brand is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting these needs resulting in a high percentage of our business coming from repeat customers, referrals and Eczema problems. Making bespoke products tailor made to customers' needs is proving more popular than I anticipated. We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.

She was first tagged by scientists in 1956 at Midway Atoll in the Pacific Ocean, which means she is at least 75 years old, making her the oldest known wild bird on Earth.

What makes her story even more remarkable is that she is still actively laying eggs and raising chicks at an age far beyond what scientists once thought possible for seabirds.

Over her lifetime, researchers estimate she has laid around 50 to 60 eggs and successfully raised dozens of chicks. She has also flown millions of miles across the ocean while searching for food and returning to the same nesting grounds year after year.

Albatrosses are known for forming long-term pair bonds and spending most of their lives at sea, only returning to land to breed. Wisdom has survived storms, predators, pollution, fishing nets, and decades of environmental change.

In Belgium, tram tracks are being designed with grass growing between the rails, turning hard urban lines into softer, greener spaces. Instead of bare concrete or gravel, these tracks are lined with carefully maintained turf that blends transport infrastructure with nature. As trams pass, the grass helps absorb sound, reducing the harsh noise that usually echoes through busy streets.

The system works by using a stable base layer that supports both the rails and the growth of grass. Special soil and drainage setups ensure the turf remains healthy despite constant movement and changing weather. The result is quieter tracks that also improve the visual feel of the area, making streets look less industrial and more inviting for pedestrians and nearby residents.

Beyond appearance and noise reduction, grass-covered tracks contribute to a better urban environment. They help manage rainwater, reduce heat from paved surfaces, and support small pockets of greenery in dense city areas. This approach shows how transport systems can be designed to serve both movement and environmental comfort at the same time.

In Japan, many hotels offer luggage forwarding services that let travelers send their bags ahead to the next destination. Instead of carrying heavy suitcases through crowded stations and long train transfers, visitors can travel light with just a small day bag. The luggage is collected from one hotel and delivered safely to another, often arriving the same day or the next morning.

The system is designed for convenience and reliability. Staff handle the packing, labeling, and coordination, ensuring that bags reach the correct location on time. This is especially helpful when navigating busy rail networks or visiting multiple cities in a short trip. Travelers can explore freely, use public transport more comfortably, and avoid the stress of managing bulky luggage.

Beyond ease, the service reflects a thoughtful approach to travel. It reduces physical strain, saves time, and makes journeys smoother for people of all ages. By removing a common difficulty, Japan turns movement between cities into a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Sometimes doing less is actually the best thing you can do for your garden. Waiting a little longer before cleaning up your yard can help protect bees and keep your garden thriving all season long.
