Paint removed using Homestrip water based paint remover, primed using all in one primer and tiled using Willaton Rustic Forest Green Gloss Wall Tiles 65x250mm supplied by
Finished using Kerakoll Fugabella 17 grout (light green colour) perfect combination of colours and client very happy!

All exposed edges of tiles polished/honed to match the face of the tile. Sealed using MP90

This job had failed twice before the client approached for a survey and then asked if I would be interested as a member for the TTA to carry out the work. It was further than I would normally like to travel for work but I was up for the challenge. The subfloor wasn’t secure and had too much bounce causing the tiles/grout to fail on each of the previous installations. Too much adhesive had been used to level the tiles (upto 25-30mm in places).
Floor was stripped back and secured, 12mm cement boards and ditra membrane installed, definitely no fails 3rd time around!
