Time for a fence upgrade! 🪵✨

The old fence had been standing since the houses were built, but after years of service it was finally time for a replacement 👍

We installed a brand-new feather edge fence, finished with gravel board and capping giving the garden more privacy, improved security, and a much smarter finish 🌿🏡

It must be Thursday... another turf post! 😄🌱

This time, we returned to a property after recently removing the old sheds 🪵♻️

The area down the side of the house had become overrun with brambles and nettles, so we cleared everything out and laid a fresh new lawn, creating a tidy, usable space ready to enjoy throughout the summer ☀️🌿

This old fence had definitely seen better days! 😅🪵

The customer got in touch looking for a replacement, so we removed the old fence and installed a new 4ft fence complete with capping, giving the front garden a much smarter and more secure finish 👍✨

Some of the posts had been replaced last year and were still in great condition, so we were able to leave those in place and install the new fencing onto them 🔨

The old fence was taken away and disposed of, leaving the site clean and tidy ♻️

Back to finish the job! 🌿🏡

Last year, we removed a number of shrubs from the front garden with the plan for the customer to turf the area themselves.

However, with a busy lifestyle getting in the way, they got back in touch and asked us to complete the final stage — so we returned and laid a fresh new lawn, transforming the area into a tidy, usable space 🌱✨

Back at St John’s College, Durham 🌿🏰

Yet again, we were called in by St. John's College, Durham University — this time to remove ivy from a Grade I Listed wall in the heart of Durham City.

Over the years, the ivy had completely covered large sections of the wall. We’ve now removed the majority of the ivy, helping to rediscover this historic feature and significantly improve the presentation of the area 👌

The remaining ivy will be removed when work begins on the restoration of the wall, allowing the College to bring it back to its former glory ✨

Access to the site was extremely tight, with everything having to come through the building. Thankfully, our little chipper was able to squeeze through, making it much easier to process and remove the waste 🌿🚛💪

It’s always great to play a small part in uncovering a piece of Durham’s history 🏰

The teams have been busy over the bank holiday weekend 🌸💪

Over the last few days we’ve planted more than 7,500 Geraniums and Dahlias into the floral displays across Bearpark Parish Council, Brandon and Byshottles Parish Council, and St Johns Hall Meadowfield 🌺🌿

To give the plants the best possible start, the teams have also been out watering morning and night every day 🚿☀️🌙

A massive thank you to The Arium — especially Lee and the team — for sorting our plants out 🙌

And also to Thomas at G.W.Holmes & Son, Sales & Hire for lending us a Luton van so we could transport the plants around and drop the trolleys off once everything was planted 🚛👍

👀 Keep your eyes peeled… one of our vans might be getting a little makeover soon!

Two sheds into one! 🪵➡️🏠

The original sheds had served their purpose and lasted well, but over time they’d filled up with things no longer needed 🙈

We were called in to remove both sheds, clear everything out, and take all waste away to be disposed of correctly ♻️👍

We then supplied and installed a brand-new 8x4 shed to replace them 💪

We were asked by a regular customer to soft wash their patio, as they wanted it cleaned without risking the old mortar and cement being blasted out 👍
