Out with old and in with the new.

Unfortunately, our previous vinyls didn’t last 4years before starting to peel, so we decided to start fresh.

Recent Nightshift work at the Poplar Tree Garden center 🌳

Unfortunately, the original commercial hot water boiler sprung a leak from the main heat exchanger, deeming it behond economical repair 💦💦⚠️.

Instead of replacing the boiler, we decided to run a hot feed from a unvented cylinder that was situated about 9m away

This will save the site on gas usage and on the annual gas servicing, it was also 1/4 of the price of a new boiler.

Due to the kitchen operation hours, we came in at 430pm and got all the works done on the night.

Thank you to site for keeping us fed and watered all night 😊

A job from last month relocating and rewiring 3 heating and 1 hot water zones at Coxhoe Village Hall 🏡

For years they’ve had connectivity issues with their existing heating system, this was largely down to the fact that the existing receivers where located in the cellar which resulted in certain zones not working when required.

We installed a 4 zone hive system, relocating the new receivers to the ground floor for better connectivity.

Our Electrician, Dan, ran the cables to the desired location, while we rewired the wiring center to suit the new setup.

Everything was set up on multiple phones so they can control the heating and hot water remotely

One of our recent commercial services that resulted in one of the boilers been disconnected and issued a ‘immediately dangerous’ warning notice ‼️⚠️‼️

During the full strip down service, we noticed a few concerning issues
1. Top and bottom flue manifolds had cracks in them
2. Corroded internal condense assembly pipe
3. Damaged heat exchanger stud that snapped during the removal of the burner due to leaking condense

New parts ordered and fitted
Snapped stud extracted and replaced
Boiler reconnected back to the gas line and recommissioned 👌🏻

A repair from last month at the poplar tree garden centre🌳

Commercial space heater, with an intermittent overheat fault.

Typically the heater wouldn’t go to fault while on site, which made the diagnosis slightly harder.
all NTC sensors and overheats where tested and working correctly.
We did however, notice the bottom fan wasn’t running to its full capacity, which turned out to be a faulty burnt out capacitor.

New one wired up and everything working perfectly again 👌🏻

We’ve gone international 😁

Ruby had the amazing opportunity to go to Zanzibar with her school and did fundraising to help cover the cost.
We were very proudly asked to sponsor her, and here she is right now helping out at the local school doing some repairs. Well done Ruby 🇹🇿

this one made us laugh… typical kitchen fitter 😂.

We got an emergency call out due to the washing machine flooding a newly fitted kitchen

One of the 1st things you are taught in plumbing is…. ‘💩 doesn’t flow uphill’…….
I think the kitchen fitter needs a lesson in physics 🫣

We ended up capping off the old waste pipe and rerouting it straight to outside.
