We cultivate thousands of plants at our 5-acre Production Nursery, available to purchase online and at our Retail Plant Centre. Our Retail Plant Centre has covered sales areas along with outdoor displays show casing a wide range of plants, many of which we grow ourselves. We also have a specialised room specifically designed for interesting houseplants of all shapes and sizes. There is ample parki

ng on site and the homely Black Horse Café offering freshly ground coffee, teas, homemade cakes, sandwiches and daily specials. Please see Black Horse Café page for menus and booking. The Production Nursery boasts a large 16,000sq ft glasshouse and outdoor growing beds, allowing our knowledgeable team to propagate and grow a huge range of our own plants to be sold at the Retail Plant Centre. This week we’re loving Salvia, especially the stunning ‘Amistad’, as our Staff Pick of the Week, and it’s looking incredible here at the Plant Centre right now!

Salvias are brilliant, long-flowering perennials that keep the colour going in the garden from summer right through to autumn. Their upright flower spikes really stand out, and they’ll come back year after year 🌸

They’re also a real magnet for bees and pollinators, making them a brilliant choice for wildlife-friendly planting 🐝
