This weekend some East Grinstead gardens are opening up for charity.

I've had the pleasure of working in two of them. One is 7 Nightingale Close, which has a beautiful garden. The other, new for this year, is Cherry Cottage, where I helped them start their new bog garden alongside some maintenance on their beautiful pond.

Go and have a look, get some inspiration, and support a great cause. I'll try to pop down myself!

With pack down complete the frogs were counted and the grand total was 140. No one of the 38 gueses were exact so it came to the closest! With 142, Mr Andrew Taylor has there for won the giveaway and bagged a £50 voucher to Orchard Nursery Plant Centre Ltd. We will be in touch!

South of England 2026 over and out!

What an experience. Overall a good show. Lots of conversations, contacts changing hands and networking.

A massive thank you once again to Orchard Nursery Plant Centre Ltd, Anglo Aquatic and East Grinstead in Bloom for your help and support. Including all my family

Also a thank you to Tom Harvey and Amy and all the horticultural stewards for their support, kind words and making the experience a laugh.

To achieve a silver gilt just topped it all of and make it worth while also, coming third in the People's choice with 50 votes.

Tomorrow the pond will be dismantled. I have a few marginal plants and lillies left aswell as oxygenators. I will post a list in the coming days.
