Kitchen Floor Transformation 🔥

Recently completed this large format porcelain tile floor installation, including underfloor heating.

The project involved:
✅ Ditra Decoupling mat
✅ Floor preparation and levelling
✅ Underfloor heating installation
✅ Large format porcelain tiling
✅ Grouting and finishing

The client was so pleased with the result they’ve now asked me to return and tile the utility room and downstairs WC, Can’t get a bigger compliment than that 👍🏻

Busy one this week 💪

Sorted out some pretty bad mould issues across a property:

🛠️ Large bedroom ceiling + dormer ceiling fully treated

* Mould scrubbed back
* Stain blocked (2 coats)
* Finished with 2 coats of anti-mould paint

Room had to be completely prepped as walls weren’t being decorated, so everything was fully protected with tape & drape to avoid any damage or splatter 👌

🛠️ Large landing with 2 dormers

* Prepped and re-coated throughout

🛠️ Ventilation sorted

* All trickle vents on the first floor removed
* Cleaned out properly (mould & mildew)
* Re-fitted and set to open to improve airflow

Not just about making it look better—this is about stopping the problem coming back 👍

5 days later… completed it mate ✅

Full garage conversion done start to finish by myself 💪
Built to regs with full insulation, boarding, plastering and electrical upgrades including sockets, lighting and provision for future heating.

Clean, warm, and ready to use 👌

Might have to find a new career… need a challenge 😂

Full transformation completed on this one ✅

This was originally a set of double doors, which were removed and completely reworked to change the layout of the room.

From start to finish, the job involved:
• Removing the existing doorway
• Building the new wall (stud, insulation, boarding)
• Plastering and preparing the area
• Full decorating to blend everything back in

Final finish:
• Wallpaper perfectly aligned and matched both sides
• New 6” ogee skirting fitted, filled and painted
• Everything tied in so you’d never know there was ever a doorway there

A complete job from construction through to final decoration, all finished to a high standard.

“It’s the golden rule… the man with the gold makes the rules.” 🧞‍♂️

After recently finishing decorating work in this beautiful property, I was called back for another job… and the plans had changed!

The dining room is now becoming a snug, which meant one set of the double doors had to go.

So the work involved:
• Removing the doors
• Studding out the opening
• Installing insulation
• Boarding and plastering the new wall

Back today to mist coat, snag, install new ogee skirting, fill and prime, ready for sanding, wallpapering and final paint so it blends in with the rest of the room.

Sometimes layouts change… the important part is making it look like it was always meant to be that way 👌

Another job underway this week in a new build property.

After new lighting was installed, several access holes had to be cut into ceilings and walls. I’ve been carrying out all the making good to bring everything back to a smooth finish ready for decorating.

Areas completed include the kitchen, utility, dining room, conservatory and the master bedroom — all ceilings and walls repaired, prepped and redecorated to blend seamlessly with the existing finish.

Commercial fit-out works completed ✅

Recently completed the formation of two internal cubicles, each approx 9ft x 8ft, within a sunbed shop, built to meet strict sub-letting and ventilation regulations.

Scope of work included:
• Metal stud partitioning using 75mm C-stud
• Walls built to regulation height to allow required ventilation clearance (not full ceiling height)
• 100mm Rockwool insulation installed for sound separation
• 12.5mm plasterboard fitted throughout
• Door openings formed and timber lined prior to installing door linings
• Full beading, skim coat plastering, light snagging, and mist coat applied

The project was completed and handed over ready for customer use, with a clean, compliant finish throughout.

Bedroom redecoration completed ✅

This bedroom received a full refresh with a strong focus on prep and finish.

Work carried out:
• Ceiling fully prepared and painted – 2 coats
• All woodwork prepared and finished with 2 coats of white satinwood
• Full wallpapering, carefully worked around the dormer area, window reveals, and awkward angles

Dormers and window areas always add extra complexity, but taking the time to get the details right makes all the difference to the final result.

Another bedroom finished to a clean, crisp standard ✨

• Ceiling fully prepared and painted – 2 coats
• All woodwork prepped and painted
• Dark brown doors primed with 2 coats before finishing with 2 coats of white satinwood
• Full wallpapering using a detailed paper, carefully fitted around cupboards, window reveals, and tight spaces

Utility rooms are never straightforward, especially with fixed units and awkward angles, but taking the time on prep and layout makes all the difference to the final finish.
