Always watching where I mow! 🌺
While working last year I spotted this beautiful wild orchid growing amongst the grass - so this year we have taken the time to capture the beauty to share with you.

Protecting these special plants helps support local biodiversity and ensures they can continue to thrive year after year, whilst giving me and our customer something to admire as it has grown.

Sometimes the best lawn care isn't about cutting everything down it's about knowing what should be left to grow.

One of the unexpected perks of mowing lawns for a living is the wildlife you get to see along the way. 🦔🐦🐿️

Today’s jobs came with a special visitor, reminding me that gardens are home to much more than just grass and flowers.

☀️ HOT WEATHER = SAFETY FIRST ☀️

When the temperatures rise, keeping our team safe and happy is always the priority.

This means there may be some slight alterations this week:
✅ Earlier starts to avoid the hottest part of the day
✅ Later evening work where possible
✅ Regular shade breaks
✅ Plenty of hydration throughout the day, we always appreciate a bottle refresh 💦
✅ A new sunhat for Darrel

Working safely means we can continue providing the best possible service, even during the heatwaves.

Proof that regular effort and patience really does pay off 😁

A year ago, this garden was completely out of control - long grass, weeds and so uneven we had to strim rather than mow.

Fast forward 12 months of regular mowing and a bit of consistency by Darrel and Sam, and it’s a completely different space ☘️

Still a work in progress… but what a difference a year has made!

Some would say Darrel is showing off with his stripes now! We think it frames the property and garden nicely 💚 Always go...

As much as they aren't the prettiest sight once the bloom has finished, to get the most of your flowers, they need a little more time:

💛 The leaves are crucial for photosynthesis
💛 Transfering energy to the bulb
💛 Allowing strong and better blooms next year
💛 Time to cut back - late May/June
