It's that time of year where the weather is starting to change and we start getting more calls and messages as people tend to leave repointing works until they start getting problems.

Year after year we get calls asking for quote as you're starting to get damp problems.

We see year after year you'll have decorated newly painted lounges, brand new kitchens, newly plastered bedrooms and it's all ruined because you haven't protected the outside of the property beforehand.

Just some of the work carried out recently by us at coastal repointing.

Having just finished off a few full houses we really have been working all over the place Sevenoaks, Peacehaven, Dorking carrying out works on not very old property's at all due to the mixes being used on new builds these days we've been contacted to fix these problems through insurance as the property's are less than 10 years old.

Many people think it's going to be very messy job. It could be that the right equipment was not used.

At coastal repointing pointing we only use dust free hoovers, which eliminates 95% of dust. Then finish off with top of the range weather proofing.

It has a proven lifespan - it can provide waterproofing protection for decades. This long-term impact is due to the high concentration of the active ingredients and its ability to pe*****te deep into the wall

Once applied and allowed to dry, this masonry water repellent makes the substrate waterproof but also reduces heat lost through it by up to 28%.

The upshot is that over the coming months your walls will continue to dry out and become increasingly good at protecting your home from rain as well as insulating your house from heat loss. You will experience an amazing reduction in heat loss through the walls that in turn will reduce fuel usage, cutting your energy bills.

The product is non-toxic, safe and even helps reduce future growth of algae and lichen on your walls as there is not enough water available for them to grow.

Another very happy customer taking advantage of our 20% discount.

We brought some life back to this worn out looking archway leading to a beautiful garden so it was only right to bring some life back to the entrance.

We carried out this work as we do all using 95% dust free hoover extraction system. We then wash the walls down to unsure that any dust that could be left in the joints are washed out. Once dried off we gun inject the mortar so the brickwork joints are filled from the back to the front.

Coastal repointing have now started back work as of today. Any people with work booked in with us will be offered 20% discount to help yourselves still get the work done and hopefully not financially hurt you. We will also be offering 20% off any new acceptance before September the 30th. We are also offering 20% off to any key workers or anyone over the age of 65 until the end of the year. All works will be carried out using social distancing. All offers exclude scaffolding
