Where do I even begin? I honestly thought I’d be back making candles again in January, but there’s been a lot of change happening in my life lately. All of it is positive, but it’s meant I’ve had to really prioritise what matters most and what I love doing.
One of the biggest changes is that we’ve bought a house. We’re hoping to move at the end of March, so that month (and probably a couple after) will be pure chaos while we get settled. I’ll also very likely be deep in an interior design hyper-fixation for a while too.
Secondly, my wedding photography business is really taking off. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine, it’s not something I picked up during COVID, it’s always been there and I really want to lean into that.
My job in the mental health support field is also changing, and I may need to take on additional hours.
And last, but absolutely not least, my boy. He’s nearly 10 months old now and is a lovable little terror who I adore. As you can imagine, he also needs a lot of my time 🤣
Because of all this, there just isn’t enough time for candle making right now. I still enjoy it, but it’s also something that costs a lot of money, and some months I was spending hundreds without enough return. I absolutely bloody love doing fairs and markets though, so if I do return later in the year, it will be with a focus on more in-person sales. Social media is one of the most time-consuming parts of running a business, and that’s just not where my capacity is at the moment.
Thank you all, honestly, SO much. You've kept me going for so long and I really do appreciate every one of you. If you want to follow my wedding photography then please do! ._ ✨️❤️ I really hope Ill be back at some point, but for now a little longer break is needed.
Much love
