The garden was fully cleared and redesigned to create a much more practical and low-maintenance space.
The new layout includes a Raj sandstone patio and pathways, with block edging to create a curved walkway through the garden. A raised sleeper flower bed was built along the rear boundary to add structure and planting space.
Artificial grass was installed between the patio and paths to keep the garden neat and easy to maintain. A small paved area for the bins was also created, along with a timber shelter to store mobility equipment with easy access from the patio.
The finished result is a clean, simple garden design that is easy to move around and enjoy.

A simple structure, a clean path, and a place to sit and soak it all in.

I created this bespoke pergola and patio with a stepped pathway to frame the view and carve out a usable outdoor living zone,right on the edge of the countryside.
The materials and tones were chosen to mirror the style of the building, creating a seamless connection between indoors and out.

With the beautiful weather we have been having the grass will flourish in no time.

A smart, simple and modern finish to this entrance .

For this project, I created a clean, modern rendered finish using Monocouche, creating crisp lines to complement the timber and tilework.

Sometimes it’s the subtle touches that make all the difference.

Project: Secret Spaces

This garden design features a sleek and modern aesthetic with clean lines and structured levels. Light grey porcelain tiles create a bright and contemporary patio space, with light rendered raised planters filled with low-maintenance shrubs and architectural plants. A standout feature is the circular sunken seating area, incorporating curved seating area with natural stone tops and a central inlay of multi-coloured cobblestones for texture and warmth. The space is organised with multiple levels, defined by clean steps and retaining walls, adding depth and visual interest to this beautifully landscaped outdoor retreat.

Location: Burwash , East Sussex

Project: to construct two ponds and install a rill.

The main garden was designed by Secret Spaces

My instruction was to construct a new raised flower bed and render the garage wall. To ensure the design flowed we agreed to also render the new flower bed and the upper pond walls. This really brought the design together.
