As most of you know I do Dave’s admin around my part time job.

I now have a new part time job (due to start soon)

This means I currently have two part time jobs which will be running side by side until August so there will be a slight delay in responding to emails / phone calls etc while we get settled into a new routine.

I’ve worked at hcc for 18 years so it’s been a huge chunk of my life but for various reasons it was time to move on.

We did manage to enjoy some of the hot British weather we had last week.

Evie is loving our pool and gets so excited when she gets to go in it.

I absolutely love her little swim shorts set from Next. It’s from the boys section because for some reason all the girls sets come with little pants but we wanted more coverage. One to protect her more from the sun and to keep her a little bit warmer. I love the colour and the little shark on the top plus it’s all so easy to get on and off.

Sorry we’ve been so quiet on here.

Lily our eldest managed to give Evie and myself (Gen) a horrible cold and it wiped us out so the admin got put on hold yet again whilst we recovered.

Honestly the school is a breading ground for germs.

I’ve nearly caught up yet again

We are now fully booked until September.

Can’t believe we are now in June. Where has this year gone and why is it going by so fast.

We had an amazing time at for Evie’s first birthday. She managed to stay awake all day and got to enjoy all the animals...

We’ve had a lovely 2 weeks off for the school holidays.

Definitely an upside to Dave being self employed is that he works what he wants to work so has most of the school holidays off.

We’ve been busy in our home doing bits and pieces.

Dave also hurt his back (reaching into a cupboard, typical old man thing lol) so was out of action for a few days.

We’ve eaten way too many chippys for our lunch but most of all we’ve made memories and enjoyed time together as a family before my maternity leave ends.
