A great productive week although it rained pretty much every day. Nevertheless our volunteers were out in force supporting of efforts to complete the planting for Abertillery & Llanhilleth Community Council . Great to see the pollytunnels starting to empty up at Bryn Bach Park and the stunning flowers that the team have natured through the spring being planted in all their glory. A few baskets left to go up after new brackets are put place but we are 99% there. A few domestic gardens cleared up as well as all that planting so a massive shout out once again to our amazing volunteers ...... we wonder what next week will bring !

The month of May. This involved mostly making hanging baskets, then hanging those baskets around Abertillery town for Abertillery & Llanhilleth Community Council and subsequently watering those baskets in the heatwave 🌞

We completed a small job at Six Bells park weeding and reseeding a flower bed and helped out our friends at Ebbw Fach Community Group by replacing a raised bed for them that had seen better days.

We saw new volunteers Paul and Joe out with us who helped with the garden and plants at Parc Bryn Bach in the sunshine and of course our regulars were out with us as usual so thank you to everyone who gave their time to work on our various projects. 👏👏
