🔧 Ford Fiesta 2018 – Ignition Replacement
This 2018 Ford Fiesta came to us with a completely seized ignition barrel. The key would no longer turn, which meant the ignition could not be released in the normal way.
We carefully drilled out the damaged ignition barrel to remove it safely without causing further damage to the steering column.
A new ignition barrel was then built to the original key bitting, allowing the customer to keep using their existing key for both the doors and the ignition – keeping everything simple with just one key.
Another job completed and the customer back on the road. 🚗
If you’re having trouble with a stiff or seized ignition, it’s best to get it checked before it completely fails.

🚗🔑 Suzuki Alto Key Rescue! 🔧🛠️

We were called out by a customer who had just bought a secondhand 2010 Suzuki Alto. After the sale, the seller posted them a 2nd key—but when it arrived, the car wouldn’t start. ❌🔑

🔍 On inspection, we found the immobiliser wasn’t switching off, preventing the engine from starting. The reason? The key was missing its transponder chip! When the seller swapped the key casing, they forgot to transfer the chip, which was loose and not attached to the remote board.

✅ We programmed a brand new transponder chip and installed it into the key.
✅ We reprogrammed the central locking so it worked with the remote again.
✅ We also ordered a new key blade, as the original was worn and sticking in the ignition.

Another happy customer back on the road with a working key and remote! 🛣️
