This bathroom was tough to capture due to the overhead lighting casting shadows and reflections from the toilet, cabinet and shower door but here’s what we managed, and I hope you enjoy the result.
Terrazzo is one of those materials that often gets misunderstood at first glance. Most people expect the bold, oversized stone chips of traditional terrazzo. But this client wanted something different, something quiet, refined and subtle.
When my client saw Lucem Star, it immediately stood out for them. From a distance, you wouldn’t even know it’s terrazzo. Only when you’re standing over it do you notice the delicate mineral details. Instead of bold aggregates, it delivers a fine grain architectural texture that sits quietly in a space while still adding depth and luxury.
This project is a perfect example of what Lucem Star is designed to be:
• Consistent texture
• Even mineral distribution
• A refined, subtle sparkle under lighting
• Soft multi-tone aggregate without harsh contrasts
It’s a finish that works beautifully in bathrooms, spas, boutique hotels and modern residential spaces where the goal is quiet luxury clean, calm and contemporary.
Lucem Star isn’t loud - it’s a subtle architectural understatement, elegant and timeless.
