Breathing new life into old buildings.

Our recently completed conversion of a cartshed into additional family space for this rural retreat in scenic Glen Esk uses traditional lime pointing and stone cobbles, while incorporating new rooflights, solar panels and an air source heat pump for energy efficient comfort.

As part of the Royal Scottish Academy's bicentennial celebrations, their 'Generation' exhibition opens on 24th January, exploring the family tree of architects, including me, who started their own practices after formative years spent at Richard Murphy Architects.

Located at Princes St in Edinburgh, the exhibition runs until the 8th March. Please come visit.
