We're an independent, family run garden centre, nursery and cafe on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We're well known for our quality and extensive range of products, and grow over 50 million plants on site every year.

The end of an era as we say goodbye to Fenella and wish her a very happy retirement. She has been a huge part of Pentland Plants for 10 years and is much loved by us all. You will all know her if you have ever been in our plant area as that’s where Fenella was absolutely brilliant at helping and guiding folk as to what to plant where in their gardens to get the best results.
She is a real plants woman and has been all over the world visiting special gardens and flowers. I don’t think there’s been a works night out that she hasn’t been at the centre of loving life and making sure we all do too! She’s become a good friend and part of the Spray family, seeing many big changes to the garden centre over the years and I’m sure she will be popping in regularly to see us all.
We will miss you so much Fenella but I know you will have a very busy and exciting next chapter in your life, lots of love and best wishes Carolyn and all the Pentland team

🪴 What do you love about your garden? Connect yourself with nature, there’s no better feeling! 🪴

This week with all the glorious weather I have been spending more time in my garden actually appreciating all it has to offer. We built our house 20 years ago so it's fairly mature now but I still keep finding bits I want to change of course!

I go home at night after a busy day and either plant up pots or do a bit of weeding, both of which make me look at all the views, flowers and foliage in the garden and fully appreciate them.

There is so much in flower and leaf just now and beautiful views in every direction. Our gardens are so important for us to relax in, recharge and feel better at home. Bees and butterflies all around and so many ladybirds!

Our plant experts are all passionate plants and have beautiful gardens themselves. They are delighted to help and advise you on making your outside space a haven to enjoy all year round.
