Great British Sewing Bee Finalist Emma joins our Fashion Show!
We are very excited to have Emma Morwood who lives just along the road in Roslin, join our models on the catwalk this October! We have been watching every week and have our fingers crossed for this Tuesdays program, although as far as I'm concerned, all the finalists are winners!

On the night she will tell us a bit about her experience on the hit BBC1 program and what good clothes and design mean to her. Emma has also very kindly offered us one of her fantastic creations for our charity raffle.

The fashion show will take place this year in the new Seasonal House giving us more space for the models to strut their stuff! We are very grateful to all my friends, family, customers and colleagues for taking part to help us raise lots of money for SAMH this year.

Where are we this week? Autumn fair and Glee garden centre trade shows at the NEC Birmingham sourcing new and exciting products for the shop for the coming months. It’s a fun part of our job and we love finding things to make our offering as unique as possible. Here we are on the Woodlodge pot stand which has some superb new indoor and outdoor collections.

Well that was a lovely end to our Monday! Emma and Rebecca from the sewing Bee were in the cafe with Emma’s daughter. They live in Roslin and Rebecca was up from London visiting. We are big fans of the show and it was super to have a chat with them all!
Can’t wait to watch the programme over the next few weeks and see if one of them win!

Every year, Pentland Plants supports a Scottish charity, and this year we’re raising money for an amazing mental health cause. ❤️
We had big plans for fundraising… but, well, life happened! 😂

So instead, I’ve persuaded my daughter to join me for the 21-mile Edinburgh Kiltwalk on 13th September, with just 3 weeks to train! What could possibly go wrong?! 😂

Mental health is so important, and we’d love to hit our fundraising target. If everyone reading this donated just £1, we’d smash it! 🙌

Happy National Dog Day to all those wonderful four legged friends out there! I have had dogs in my life specially Beardies since I was 5 and they are a huge part of my life. They are always by your side making you smile and loving you back. Pentland plants have been dog friendly for many many years and we love seeing all your dogs in the shop! There are lots of cakes and biscuits to treat them in the cafe and Becky always has a biscuit at the tills x
