The Cassette is second from a series of retail spaces designed and fabricated by GRAS for Waverley Mall. Carefully curated materials — brass frame with bespoke lights, chunky terrazzo worktops featuring reclaimed marble, by Robin Grasby , neon signage by and playful in form, delicately pink timber, echoing Bouroullec brothers’ Rombini, help to redefine the retail kiosk typology. @ Waverley Mall, Edinburgh

are the lead for the team that won the competition to redevelop the Ross Pavilion in West Princes St Gardens, Edinburgh. This is now know as the Quaich Project. This is in collaboration with Groves-Raines Architects / GRAS, Arups and others.

Mark Thomann is landscape director at and will present an intimate look at wHY’s Ross Pavilion & Gardens, the firm’s first project in Europe. He will also touch upon other recent works by the firm, and lessons learned from a career in landscape design.
