☀️ June 2024 was pretty epic for me and so much fun was had! As part of a trip to London with my wee girl we went to .house

🥵 It was mad to travel to the opposite side of the city from the airport you need to fly from later than afternoon but we took it on. 😃 I’m so pleased we did because inspiration was literally hanging from the walls. It was a feast for an interior design enthusiast and there were so many takeaways.

❤️ I particularly loved collaboration with ingenuity and detail abundant! 🛋️ This sofa made by the was inspired! I loved how the designers elongated the fireside arm, making the perfect cuddle nook! 🤗 Such a simple hack and sofa comfortable!

This is my 1970’s vintage swivel and tilt egg chair rescued from the back of a container in deepest darkest Falkirk. I had wanted a preloved, preferably vintage piece to bring a unique style into my interiors. It felt good to give this chair new life. Using
Preloved home furnishings is a smart way to create stylish interiors that are both affordable and environmentally responsible.

Interesting that IKEA are launching “Ikea Preowned”, a platform which is a great step towards sustainability, allowing customers to easily buy and sell second hand furniture. From my perspective, this opens up opportunities for clients to find furniture that
is eco-friendly while supporting the circular economy. I’m dubious that much of the offerings will be unique though!

✨ Designing this bedroom has been a joy! I just can’t see past Jane Churchill’s stunning Astoria fabric paired with their Snowflower wallpaper. The combination is beautifully elegant! 🌸 Adding the final touch, James Hare’s intricate detail trim brings the whole scheme together, creating a look that’s both elegant and unique. I can’t wait to install it!
