Thanks to everyone who came to the “Lineage” event last night.

Richard Murphy RSA led the conversation in a room full of former colleagues, friends and members of the public.

The evening was the climactic event of the “Generation” exhibition which explored the idea of the architectural family tree by bringing together the work of 17 architects all of whom have worked within the office of Richard Murphy Architects throughout the years.

Coinciding with the 200th anniversary of the RSA, the exhibition was both a look into the past and the many influences on Richard and the practice’s work, as well as a look to the future and how that legacy and influence is continued.

We’re delighted to announce that our recently completed project, Portal Innovation & Enterprise Hub for Trinity College Dublin has been selected as a finalist in the 2026 Irish Construction Excellence Awards.

Nominated in the “Education – up to €20million” category, the Portal project has transformed a 19th century warehouse on Dublin’s historic Grand Canal Quay into a new innovation hub with considerable public realm enhancements to the Quayside.

We are also working on the adjacent warehouse, also for Trinity College, to convert it into a new Laidlaw Library for the campus.
